My favorite movie from the original trilogy
I actually had to think about this one as I really like the prequels best by far. At first I thought I liked 'Return of the Jedi' best because Luke finally acts more like a real Jedi, though definitely not in the same class as my prequel heroes.
After more thought, though, I decided I like 'The Empire Strikes Back' best because of Yoda. He makes his debut here that totally surprises the uninitiated. The banter between R2 and him makes me laugh every time as does his comments about Luke's food. Of course, I like the scene where Darth says 'I am you father' and the tunnel 'Nooooooooooooo!' from Luke. I mean, who can not like all that? We've gotten so much mileage out of that scene.
