A picture of something you'd like to forget
That day when Jacob and Alex crashed their bikes on that never-to-be-forgotten Yom Kippur is one event I'd rather forget. Maybe it's more of the kind of thing I wish hadn't happened. I know all kids crash their bikes, break a bone, or one of the many things that can happen to normal, active teens.
Thankfully, it all ended well with both boys being fine. I'm so glad they wore their helmets! You can see the state Jacob's was in afterwards... He protected our boys, provided wonderful medical staff to help us out, and our friend, Al was such a huge blessing that day. G-d is so good!
Can you believe that we just got the ambulance bill paid off a couple of weeks ago - fortunately, insurance paid the full amount. Yet another reason to be grateful!
I won't soon forget that day, that's for sure. Bless G-d that everything turned out well. :-)
