Bail Organa
As I sorted through all those rebels I've watched and read about in the Star Wars saga, I thought about the obvious ones - Han Solo, Princess Leia, Luke Skywalker, along with a few others that made me laugh to think of - Porkins and Admiral Ackbar (It's a trap!). Then I remembered Bail!
Of course, I had to choose him. I got to know him so much better Karen Miller's Clone Wars books, especially Wild Space. He's an awesome character! Yes, I know he's a politician and royalty, too, but I can't hold that against him when I know how honest and loyal he is. He and Obi Wan had quite the adventures on Zigoola, a Sith planet. He also has a quick wit and humility about him that I like. The relationship between him and Obi Wan is awesome. He's no Jedi, but he understands them like no one else.
