Challenge #12

A picture of a home that is or was significant to you.

Not what you were expecting, huh? Well, my stationary homes have been pretty ordinary (not to mention my scanner to get the pics in isn't working), so I chose a 'home' that represents one of the loves of my life - travel! I spend a good deal of my life in a car, whether driving or navigating, so this fit the criteria in my mind.

This particular 'home' is from our first cross-country road trip that took us to so many places I'd never been. We stopped at this quaint spot along highway 10 in Texas.

And, the white version is the one we lived in for yet another month on our second trip, this time taking in more places we'd never been. Here we are along highway 1 in California north of San Francisco - great road for a large van, two moms and three teen boys... If you look close, you can see Jacob sitting there - he got tired of our photo op stops.

And here we have our mascot, Master Obi Wan Kenobi keeping us on track through Joshua Tree as we raced on to Victorville where we had our first In-N-Out burgers. I liked our ever changing view from our front window.
